About Me

As a writer, I collaborate with busy professionals, students, businesses, and other organizations to create written projects such as blog posts, essays, B2B articles, letters, and more. I collaborate closely with each client to ensure I meet their objective, convey their desired tone, and express their ideas appropriately. My main priority is the satisfaction of my clients and maintaining a high standard of quality.

Before starting my writing business, I amassed 20+ years of professional experience serving the community. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Maryland, College Park, in 2002. I have spearheaded departments for Toyota/Lexus Financial Services, managed Baltimore’s Historic Tax Credit Program, and appraised thousands of single-family and condominium communities. In 2014, I co-founded Hamilton House LLC, an independent living facility for people with mental disabilities. For six years, we maintained our business while helping to support vulnerable community members.

In 2019, I began ghostwriting articles for blogs, magazines, and other publications. I enjoyed the work immensely and have written 100+ articles, essays, blog posts, business letters, and more since I began. I have ghostwritten published articles for Bayou Cafe, The Parcel Port, Ketowize, Telegraph Chicago, Healthy Voyager, and Best Accredited Colleges. I am also the author of The “S” Word, a platform that aims to empower women and help them overcome challenges on their journey to personal growth. We discuss self-care, personal development, relationship issues, and more. I also create and publish activity books, which are available on Amazon.

I plan to continue providing my clients with creative and informative writing for many years. If you are interested in writing services, please email me at shantellhartley@gmail.com.
